As well as yoga, Sarah at Tamraght Yoga Studio also teaches Yamuna Body Rolling.
Yamuna Body Rolling uses different sized, inflatable balls to realign and create space within your body. Using your body weight, the Yamuna balls apply pressure to different parts of your body to release stress and ease pain, starting first with your bones and then continuing onto your muscles and tendons.
The easiest way to explain the benefits of Yamuna Body Rolling is by simply imagining the balls are actually the hands of a massage therapist and your body weight is the levels of pressure they use to massage you. The practise is globally recognised to promote effective self-fixing and body maintenance, whilst allowing the body to unwind and relax naturally.
Body rolling is designed for all ages and abilities. From the top of your head to the tips of your toes, Sarah will guide you through the session ensuring you and your body get the most from your practise. It’s also handy to note that Yamuna Body Rolling complements yoga perfectively and can be practised alongside each other regularly.
Yamuna Body Rolling classes are usually at 10:30am every Monday at Tamraght Yoga Studio. It’s also great for surfed-out muscles!
