Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retreat villa, ensuring smooth and efficient management.
- Manage and support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain high standards of guest service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate surf and yoga sessions, ensuring instructors and guests are well-informed and prepared.
- Handle bookings, inquiries, and guest communications, both pre-arrival and during their stay.
- Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and activities to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial efficiency.
- Maintain the villa’s facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the retreat and attract guests.
- Build and maintain relationships with local vendors, partners, and the community.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality, wellness, or retreat management.
- Language Skills: High proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Additional languages (such as French or Arabic) are a plus.
- Commitment: Ability to commit to the role for a duration of 6 months to 1 year.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Customer Service: A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Cultural Sensitivity: An understanding of and sensitivity to diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with basic computer programs and reservation systems.
- Salary will be dependent on experience. This is also a live-in position and you will be allocated a private room in the villa, along with meals during working hours
