MoradMeet Morad - Co-founder and surf school manager
Morad is an ISA Level 1 qualified surf coach and loves nothing more than sharing his passion for surfing and the ocean. He speaks English, German, French and his native language of Moroccan Arabic. With his patient and friendly manner, he creates a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for you to fully switch off and enjoy your experience of Morocco. Morad also holds an ISA certificate in Adaptive Surf Instruction and is part of the team at Surfability UK CIC in Swansea, South Wales where he also instructs throughout the year. |
SophieMeet Sophie - Co-founder and retreat organiser
Sophie is your first point of contact, and will be happy to make your stay at Villa Azhar as comfortable as possible. Sophie is an avid surfer and certified yoga teacher. She has over 10 years experience in both hosting and organising retreats and is here to make your retreat dreams become a reality! Her local knowledge & language skills (English, French and Moroccan Arabic) combined with her love for surf, yoga and travel will ensure a memorable trip and a truly authentic experience of Morocco. |

FATIMAMeet Fatima - housekeeper and in-house chef
Fatima is our amazing chef and top housekeeper, making all your yummy meals and keeping the Villa sparkly clean. Fatima is from our neighbouring village of Tamaouanza and has been part of the Azrac team since opening our Villa in 2019. Always with and a huge, warm and welcoming smile, she loves nothing more than creating dishes with love - come learn all about Moroccan cuisine with Fatima in our Moroccan cooking experience! 
JALALMeet Jalal - surf guide and instructor
Jalal is our resident surf guide and coach and will make sure that you're at the best surf spot with the right conditions for your level. His friendly smile, high energy and enthusiasm for surfing will ensure a fun-filled stay with us at Villa Azhar & Azrac Surf School! He is a qualified beach lifeguard, and his fun loving approach and expert knowledge will help you progress in your surfing. |
IMRANMeet Imran - local host and surf school assistant
Imran is your go-t0 guy whilst staying with us at Villa Azhar. With his gentle nature and big smile, he's always around to help - and he also makes a delicious tagine! He loves to surf and being in the water with our guests, and will be happy to share his favourite surf spots with you during your stay. 
MAXIMEMeet Maxime - host and surf school assistant
Originally from Belgium, Maxime loves travelling and experiencing new cultures. Having spent time in .... and most recently South Africa, he has fallen in love with Morocco - the way of life, the food, its warm people and its epic waves! Max is always around to make your stay as amazing as it can be, always with a big smile and good energy. |
BellaMeet Bella - fluffy beach friend and house guardian
We adopted Bella in October 2018 from our friends at Morocco Animal Aid, who saved her from the streets, gave her a home and took amazing care of her. Bella is now our family pet, and she loves nothing more than running along the beach, playing in the waves and hanging out with everyone at the beach. |
NORAHMeet Norah - future surf champion of Morocco! :-)
Norah is our energetic daughter and mini surf-enthusiast. She loves nothing more than being outdoors, especially building sandcastles and playing in the ocean. |
