The Moroccan Government reopened the borders for commercial flights into and out of Morocco on 7 February 2022.

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR TOURISTS TO ENTER MOROCCO

Adults (18+) are required to show either:
  • A vaccination pass showing person has received three vaccine doses (or have had their second vaccine dose within the previous four months)
    OR
  • a negative PCR test result with the sample having been taken within 72 hours before boarding
  • you'll need to show both at check-in and before boarding the plane. All vaccine passes issued by other countries are accepted as long as they are valid in their country of emission.

Certificates of COVID-19 recovery are not accepted by the Moroccan authorities as an alternative to a negative PCR test result.
  • A completed health form for each person travelling to be presented on arrival in Morocco, which you can print before travelling here
  • Upon arrival at the airports, antigenic tests will be performed randomly on passengers. If the tests are positive, other preventive measures will be implemented.

Children between 12 & 18 years old
  • Children aged between 12 and 18 are exempt from the need for a third vaccine dose, but must provide proof of two doses of the vaccine, OR proof of a negative PCR test result. A single shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine counts as two doses.

Children under 12 years of age
  • There are no entry requirements for children under 12 years of age.

PCR test required for your trip home?

If your home country or next destination requires you to provide a negative PCR test result, we are happy to recommend a local testing lab that we have used ourselves. They offer testing at their center in Agadir, plus a mobile service so you can be tested on site at our Villa in Tamraght.

Prices are currently 400MAD at the testing center, and 700MAD for the mobile service - both providing results within 24 hours via email.

We're here if you need us! Any questions or concerns, please get in touch by email at hello@azracsurf.com and we'll be in touch within 24 hours
