With all year round sunshine, South Morocco is blessed with a variety of yummy fruits - bananas, peaches, apples, avocados.... Locals and tourists alike love nothing more than to sip on a freshly made juice after a day of surfing Morocco's world-class waves! A classic favourite is the avocado juice - so thick and creamy that it comes with a spoon! Here's our recipe to re-create this Moroccan favourite wherever you are! Avocado Juice Recipe (serves 1)
1 large or 2 small bananas Half an avocado Half a glass of fresh, chilled milk A handful of dates, crushed almonds and dried figs Chop the banana and avocado into small chunks, and place into a blender. Remove the stones from the dates, and add to the blender with the chopped figs and almonds. Pour over the chilled milk and whizz away until you get a smooth consistency. Pour into a tall glass, adding the rest of the chopped banana and apple slices to the top for decoration. Bsaha! Enjoy! |
